The Gambia Police Force, in a press release, announced that the Anti-Crime Unit had arrested four young men on suspicion of breaking into a restaurant at Lamin Lodge on Sunday.

The police statement reported that the four suspects were found with goods that were suspected of being stolen.

“In a swift response to a call from a member of the Lamin Community, the police arrested four suspects who were found in possession of suspected stolen mobile phones – a Samsung A30 and an Itel device, two crates of energy drinks, and two cutlasses were recovered at the scene of the incident,” they said.

The police said that although the suspects are cooperating with the investigation, the public is still advised to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity and report it to the nearest police station immediately.

“The Gambia Police Force remains committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the peace and stability of our nation,” it reads.
