Answer of The month of 8 May 2025 From Concern Gambians Adama Barrow Government.
Mr. President,
The enemies of the state are not the peaceful protesters in the streets — they are the looters, the corrupt elite, and possibly those senior officials closest to you who are desperate to silence the voice of the people.
When The Gambia wins, you win. But if things do not change, your presidency risks being remembered as one of the darkest and most corrupt chapters in our nation’s history. This is not a threat — it is a warning born of love for country. We are not your enemies. We are doing you a favor.
Do the right thing.
Publish the full list of those who have robbed this nation — without edits, without delay.
But if you choose to meet our peaceful resistance with force, history will not forget. And one day, you will pay the price — maybe not today, but justice has a long memory.
To the police officers behaving as if you were imported from war-torn lands to crush your own people — remember the TRRC. Remember how those before you were discarded, betrayed, and sacrificed by the very powers they protected. Don’t let history repeat itself.
We are not your enemy.
We are your brothers, sisters, neighbors — fighting for dignity, truth, and a Gambia that belongs to all of us.
