SENEGAL: ON HUNGER STRIKE, OUSMANE SONKO EVACUATED TO THE EMEGENCY ROOM OF SEBIKOTANE PRISON

The leader of the African Patriots of Senegal for Work, Ethics and Fraternity (Pastef) party, Ousmane Sonko is currently in the emergency room, according to El Malick Ndiaye, national secretary for communication of the said party.

“President Ousmane Sonko is currently in the emergency room. Macky Sall and his armed forces will be fully responsible for everything that happens to him, ” reveals El Malick Ndiaye.

The leader of the Pastef party, Ousmane Sonko is on his 8th day of hunger strike as well as many “political prisoners.

The leader of Pastef, Ousmane Sonko and the “political detainees”, have been on hunger strike for 8 days.

Ousmane Sonko, arrested on Friday and charged the next day for calling for an insurrection and other crimes and misdemeanors, has been on a hunger strike since Sunday July 30.
