The 2018 Gambia Volleyball Federation’s cup final is down to the ultimate face-off on October 27, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau starting 1700hr.

Fans all over The Gambia are looking forward to this great match, as Gamtel/Gamcel men volleyball team will face off Serekunda East, as the latter poised for a double.

Whiles Brikama female team will battle against GAF for their maiden title if they can make an upset.

Women’s final: Brikama v GAF

The game is so much bigger than what happens on the court in Bakau on Saturday, and the outcome will ring into eternity. Fatoumatta Sillah will be the obvious one to watch on the night and GAF will wish she fumble

The contrast could not be greater. Whilst this is a virgin territory for Brikama, it will be GAF’s many finals of the competition that have make them the queens of women volleyball in the Gambia.

  Men’s final : SK East v Gamtel /Gamcel

Winning the league this year for the first time, Olympafrica boys reached to their ever wish mark, but they wanted to proceed this time around to get this far; they now carry on living the dream when they face the telecom boys and the chance to win the double looms on the horizon.

For Gamtel/Gamcel, the recent change of squad and technical sides had aided one time power houses of Gambian volleyball. But of recent times, they seem to lose that rhythm even though they still have players in the big ranks.
