On Wednesday, the Gambia Police Force conducted a vibrant decoration ceremony at the Police Headquarters in Banjul to honor 207 senior officers who had been promoted. The officers in question included DSP, Supt., CSP, ACP, DCP, CP, and AIG.
IGP Seedy Touray and his senior management convened the event, which was attended by the Minister of Defence and senior government and security officials.
The officers were commended by Minister of Defence Seringe Modou Njie for their dedication and encouraged them to persist in their dedication to providing service to the country. The PMO was thanked by the Inspector General of Police, Seedy Mukhtar Touray, for its assistance in the promotion process. He also encouraged the newly promoted officers to continue their hard work and dedication.
In his opening remarks, the Assistant Inspector General of Police Administration, Ebrima Bah, extended a warm welcome to the guests and dignitaries. He also reflected on his 24-year police career and praised this round of promotions as the most transparent and credible he had personally witnessed.
The ceremony was distinguished by a demonstration of honor and gratitude, which underscored the substantial contributions of each officer.
