Sixty unidentified bodies that were reportedly at the Mortuary of the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) in Banjul have been buried at Kombo Tubakuta, The Point has been reliably informed.

An anonymous source, who is familiar with the matter, told The Point: “All the 60 unidentified dead bodies were buried at Kombo Tubakuta at the Bator Le Jola cemetery.”

The burial, our source added, was carried out yesterday 4 May 2023 and it was reportedly conducted by health personnel led by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Health with the assistance of inhabitants of Tubakuta.

“The burial of the 60 unidentified bodies started at 2 a.m and ended at 4a.m on the 4th of May 2023. All the dead bodies were buried individually with clearly marked graves for future references,” our source clarified.
