On Saturday, 13th July 2024, the presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of The Gambia will officiate a Methodist worship service in Bletchley Milton Keynes.
This day will also mark the launch of The Gambia Methodist Association in the United Kingdom.
Immediately after the Worship Service and Holy Communion, The Bishop will have a question and answer session where individuals can seek clarification and / or information on any matter that concerns the Methodist Church of The Gambia.
This will be followed by a fun day of interaction and socialising.
There will be a luncheon sale where delicious Gambian traditional delicacies will be on full display.

[01:55, 12/07/2024] Melville Roberts: It is with great pleasure and immense pride that I inform you all in my capacity as interim secretary of the Gambia Methodist Association UK that The presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of The Gambia, His Grace, Bishop Bannie E F Manga will formally launch the Association in the presence of Her Excellency, Fatou Bom Bensouda, Gambias High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
In that same vein, I wish to bring to your attention that an interim executive/working group was formed for the purpose of organising the event of 13th July, 2024.
After the service and immediately before the luncheon sale, we will conduct a quick election of officers who will serve as the 1st executive of the association and will be tasked with steering the affairs of the association for the next 2 years.
The interim executive comprises the following individuals:
Chairperson: Mr. Joe Oremi Cole
Deputy Chairperson: Mrs Sally Forster Davies
Secretary: Mr. Melville Robertson Roberts
Treasurer: Mr. Daniel Forster
Chaplain: Rev Saidu kanu
