GAMBIA: CARS FOR PRESIDENT BARROW’S ANNUAL LEAVE REQUESTED BY GOVERNMENT VEHICLE CONTROLLER

In order to facilitate President Adama Barrow’s impending yearly vacation in Mankamang Kunda, the Controller of Government Vehicles has formally requested vehicles from the Government Project Office.

I write to inform you that, The President of the Republic of the Gambia His Excellency Mr Adama Barrow will embark on his annual leave at Mankamang-Kunda (URR) from Saturday the 5th October to Tuesday the 6th November 2024 respectively. In view of the above, Government Vehicles Controller is been assigned to write and request for vehicle from your office to facilitate the movement of the President during the period,” Nfamara Saidybah, Controller of Government Vehicles, stated in a letter on behalf of the Chief of Staff.

The letter further instructed that the designated vehicle and driver report to Denton Bridge on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024, at 10:00 a.m. for logistical arrangements and security preparations.

“Furthermore, all requested departments, ministries, agencies, projects, and parastatals shall report in time to avoid any confrontations.” the letter warned.
