In Basse, a woman’s body was discovered in a bag on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Regarding the event, a suspect has been taken into custody by the police.

According to sources, the police were called and dispatched to the crime scene after they seen the body wrapped in the bag by individuals on their way to work.

After that, the body was taken to Basse Hospital by the police.

She used to stay at “Kerr Mike Bar,” and her name was Isatou. I’m not sure of her last name, the source revealed foroyaa.

For a postmortem, the body was sent to Banjul. Assistant Superintendent Modou Musa Sisawo, the police public relations officer, was approached by Foroyaa. He attested to the event and the suspect’s apprehension.

Early on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in the early hours, the Basse police received a report. As soon as the police learned that a body was lying in the streets of Basse, they moved it to Basse District Hospital so that it could receive a preliminary medical examination. In the meantime, a suspect in the alleged murder has been taken into custody by the police. PRO Sisawo acknowledged, “An investigation into the circumstances has commenced, and a suspect has already been taken into custody.”
