GAMBIA: FORMER INTERIOR MINISTER EBRIMA MBALLOW DIES

The President of the Republic of the Gambia, Adama Barrow, on Sunday night, announced the death of Hon. Ebrima Mballow, Gambia’s Consul General in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Mballow was one-time Minister of the Interior during President Barrow’s first term. 

President Adama Barrow announced the sad news on his Twitter account.

“Fellow Gambians, I just received the sad news of the demise of my Consul General in Jeddah, Mr. Ebrima Mballow. I pray that Allah the Almighty grants him Jannat ul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear this loss. Ameen,”

Honorable Mballow was appointed Interior Minister and relieved of his duties before being moved to Jeddah as Consul General.
