A formal resignation letter has been submitted by Momodou Sabally to the United Democratic Party. The letter addressed to the party’s administrative secretary is enclosed below.
To formally notify you of my decision to resign as the national campaign manager for the United Democratic Party, I am writing this letter.

Despite the difficulty of the situation, I believe it is in the best interest of the party and myself to proceed in this manner, given the current circumstances.

As a consequence, I have made the decision to terminate my membership in the UDP. I would like to seize this occasion to convey my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the leadership and members of this esteemed political party for their unwavering support and affection that I received throughout my tenure as a member.

Given the aforementioned circumstances, I shall also relinquish the party utility vehicle that has been allocated to me over the preceding years today. Please convey my profound gratitude and recognition to the Party Leader and Secretary General for an innumerable number of reasons that surpass the scope of this letter.

Your usual cooperation and support is greatly appreciated. May Allah grant the UDP greatness.
