Ebou Faye, National People’s Party (NPP) Mayoral Candidate In Banjul Flanged By His Family And Friends At The Nominations.
Ebou Faye, the National People’s Party (NPP) candidate for the Banjul mayoral election, has said that he has the experience, knowledge, and skills necessary to take the Banjul City Council (BCC) to the next level.
Ebou Faye made these remarks after his nomination at the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) office in Banjul.
The National People’s Party candidate said he is not worried despite being a football administrator going into politics;
“Am not worried about anything, I am a football administrator but am also an administrator different from football. So I have the necessary capacity. I have the expertise and the skills to take Banjul City Council to another level. I am very sure (I will win) because I am contesting under the mighty NPP. Well, as someone who is contesting you don’t need to do anything, you have to contest and do something.

“Banjulians can tell you what I have done for them. That’s an open secret for everyone who knows Banjul. I am a seasonal politician, that’s why when I contested the last time and lost, I went back to what I was doing. But now when I win I will stay as a politician. Our first priority is to address how you mitigate flooding on Tobacco Road. Not only Tobacco Road but Lasso wharf, and Juma Omar Sowe,” the NPP candidate told waiting journalists after his nomination on Sunday.
Ebou Faye is the National People’s Party’s (NPP) candidate for the upcoming Mayoral Election in Banjul. He is contesting against the Incumbent Mayor, Rohey Malick Lowe.
