GAMBIA: OMAR FRAZER ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING KEBBA NDOYE A RESIDENT OF BANJUL

The arrest of a man named Omar Frazer, who is believed to be responsible for the killing of Kebba Ndoye, a resident of Banjul, on October 4, 2023, has been confirmed by the Gambia Police Force.

The ongoing investigation by law enforcement authorities pertains to a stabbing event resulting in the unfortunate demise of an individual named Kebba Ndoye, who resided in the city of Banjul. This occurrence occurred on the 4th of October in the year 2023. Based on initial inquiries, it has been determined that the purported perpetrator committed a lethal act of stabbing against the victim, thereafter absconding from the legal authority of Banjul.

Considerable endeavors were undertaken by law enforcement authorities in their pursuit of apprehending the purported perpetrator prior to his potential departure beyond the national boundaries into Senegal. The apprehension of the suspected suspect has been made possible due to the preexisting security collaboration between the police authorities of The Gambia and Senegal. The acting police spokesman said that consultations are now in progress to secure the extradition of the accused individual to The Gambia.
