GAMBIA: POLICE IN THE SENEGAMBIA AREA ARE LOOKING INTO A POSSIBLE HOMICIDE

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, a dead body was found in the Senegambia area, near Mansea Beach. Authorities consequently launched an investigation into the potential homicide.

The deceased has been identified as Sainey Jersey from Brufut, who was also known by his peers as “Eco.” They’ve brought the deceased to the mortuary.

According to the police, Manjai resident Modou Lamin Jallow, 35, was brought into jail and is currently cooperating with the investigation. The Crime Scene Police (CSI) investigators are working diligently to determine the cause of the death.
