Taf Africa Global Limited, owned by prominent Gambian housing and real estate tycoon Tapha Njie, has received two awards in Nigeria as the Best Housing Developer in West Africa, as well as the Best Housing Developer in the entire Africa continent.

The awards were confered on the international Gambian-owned company by Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) in its maiden MERIT AWARDS night held at the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC) on Thursday.

NIESV is a professional institute of estate surveyors and valuers in Nigeria that was founded in 1969 with the aim of regulating and controlling the practice of the profession of estate surveying and valuation in the country.

An individual award – the Special Individual Recognition Awards – was equally awarded to Tapha Njie, alias Taf, who is the founder and owner of Taf Africa Global Limited.

The prestigious occasion was graced by business personalities and leaders from across the sub-region and across the continent, especially those from the housing and real estate industry.

The awards were received on behalf of the company and CEO Tapha Njie by Barrister Lucky Kawekwune, who is the chief legal officer of TAF Africa Global Limited, together with the company’s executive assistant in Nigeria.
