Talib Bensouda, the incumbent mayor of the Kanifing Municipal Council, has pledged to provide support to the Black Market youth if he is re-elected.” As a young man myself, I know that many people say that young people on the black market are criminals. However, I believe that the assertion to be based on a falsehood. When I visited the black market today, I saw nothing but hard-working young people who are simply trying to make a living. If I am elected back to office, I will prioritize the youth in the black market by providing them with the resources they need to succeed. I will help them find stores for their businesses, and I will provide them with small loans to expand their businesses. I believe that by investing in youth, we can create a better future for our country.” He promised

Talib Ahmed Bensouda also promised to renovate the Serekunda Market.

” The market is in need of rehabilitation. We will paint the market, install new CCTV cameras, and improve the lighting. This will make the market a more standard and attractive place to do business. I have a proven track record of delivering on my promises. If you elect me back to office, I will make sure that these improvements are made. I am confident that I will win on May 21st.” He said
