GAMBIA: WHY NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR CHANGE EMERGED AS A POLITICAL MOVEMENT?

Gambia continues to wallow in shambles under the economic junglers and mafia government of Adama Barrow and NAC emerged, ready to salvage the Gambians and save the nation from sinking.

Why did NAC emerge? We are like Edward Francis Small who became exposed to universal knowledge. We woke up and see how states operate, how constitutions are built, how economies are built. What is the basis of ensuring people live in peace, progress and prosperity.

We then turned and looked back and saw a society in shambles. A society full of failures. People in rural areas living in abject poverty. No roads, no hospitals, no schools, no jobs for the youths , poor education, poor health service, poor agricultural system among many other things.

We saw people living in poverty and dying in poverty.

We asked ourselves the question.

Do we belong to these people who are facing all these injustices and disadvantages?

Is this the Gambia that people want to see and live forever?

Is this the Gambia we want our children to inherit and pass it to our grand children? Our answer is that our EDUCATION is MEANINGLESS unless we transform our education into a tool of development and make the Gambia a developed nation in the world. Unless we eradicate the poverty of our people and tyrannical subjugation. We saw that we need to establish a political movement whose fundamental aim would be to eradicate dictatorship and fight corruption inorder to strengthen young leadership that will serve all, that is why NAC emerged.

Compliment: I thank Lawyer Assan Martin and all the strong team behind him for bringing the NAC into existence and show the Gambians that this wonderful political movement is here to save the Gambia and her people.
