Prime Minister Ousmane SONKO asked ministers to send him the inventory of all contracts or agreements signed with expertise firms, of all departments and agencies attached to their ministries.

As part of the policy of rationalizing state spending and with a view to optimizing the expected results and impacts, it asks them to provide, by July 1, 2024 at the latest, documents and information concerning all departments and agencies attached to their ministries. This includes the inventory of all contracts or agreements signed with legal and accounting firms, the inventory of all staff recruitment over the last three years 2022, 2023, and the inventory of advertising service contracts.

The Prime Minister also instructed ministers to refrain, as a precautionary measure, from entering into any new agreements until further notice, specifying that he attaches great importance to the accuracy of the information provided and to diligence in execution.

This request aims to ensure better transparency and more efficient use of public resources, a point highlighted in the note of which Walfnet had a copy.
