SENEGAL: PAPE ALE NIANG HAS BEEN RELEASED ON BAIL – LAWYER MOUSSA SARR

The journalist, Pape Alé Niang, has just been granted provisional release. The boss of Dakarmatin will once again smell the air of freedom, confides the lawyer, Me Moussa Sarr.

In bad shape for a few days following his total hunger strike, Pape Alé Niang will be released from prison. The investigative journalist had started a hunger strike following his third arrest.

He has been admitted to the emergency room since last Friday. The Minister of Justice, Ismaila Madior Fall, had also specified yesterday (Monday) during his press conference, that Pape Alé Niang, did not eat and also refused to receive care.
