Volleyball finals dedicate to Gambian President
Banjul, The Gambia October 21, 2019 -The Gambia Volleyball Federation finals slated for October 26th 2019 at the independence stadium in Bakau is dedicated to the president of Gambia Adama Barrow according to officials from the federation.
The 2019 volleyball finals will bring down the curtain of a season that was characterized with lot of new talents discovered and is set to make Gambia Volleyball dreams come true says the federation’s president Bai Dodou Jallow.
He added ‘’ we are delighted to dedicate this important event to the president of The Gambia HE Adama Barrow and we are optimistic he will receive this with honor.
Recently volleyball was on the headlines across the world for good reasons as we won the 2019 African Games beach volleyball gold medal and that feat was greatly welcome by the president so we deem it very important to honor this final in his name Jallow stated.
The final is schedule for Saturday October 26th 2019 at the independence stadium between Gambia Armed Forces v Interior in the women category whiles Serekunda East will face GAF in men final.
