State media: The Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources on Thursday handed over 14 fishing vessels with out-boat engines worth over 4 million dalasi to 10 communities across regions in The Gambia.

The Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources on Thursday handed over 14 fishing vessels with out-boat engines worth over 4 million dalasi to 10 communities across regions in The Gambia.

The fishing vessels are expected to build the capacity of fisherfolk, boost the economy and discourage illegal fishing.
