According to the Gambia Ferry Service, passengers are experiencing delays while the Kunta Kinteh and Kanilai ferries are now undergoing maintenance.

The Gambia Ferry Service has announced in a press release that the Kunta Kinteh and Kanilai ferries will be out of commission for lengthy periods of time due to maintenance.
A statement from the Gambia Ferry Service informed the public and customers that use the Banjul-Barra route that the Kunta Kinteh and Kanilai ferries will be out of commission for maintenance.

Both ferries were taken out of service last night due to mechanical difficulties, according to the ferry service. The incidents occurred at various periods last night.

Both ferries will be operational again as quickly as possible, thanks to the Technical Services Department’s present efforts. The statement ends with an apology from GFS management to everyone for any trouble this has caused, particularly our passengers.
