GAMBIA: APPOINTMENTS AND REDEPLOYMENTS WITHIN THE CIVIL SERVICE

Banjul – The Gambia. In consultation with the Public Service Commission and consistent with The Gambia Government’s policy of enhancing productivity among its workforce, the following appointments and redeployments have been effected:

Mr. Demba S. Bah, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is appointed on promotion as Permanent Secretary (PS) and redeployed to the President’s Office;

Mr. Hassan M. Jallow, Permanent Secretary, Office of The President, is redeployed to the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy as Permanent Secretary;

Mr. Lamin A. Camara, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy is redeployed to the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy as Permanent Secretary;

Mr. Yankuba Saidy, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information is redeployed to The Gambia Prisons Service as Director of Administration:

Mrs. Amie Njie. Permanent Secretary. Ministry of Petroleum and Energy is redeployed to the Ministry of Information as Permanent Secretary:

Meanwhile, Mr. Abubacarr Jah, recalled Deputy Head of Mission at The Gambia Embassy in Saudi Arabia, is appointed Deputy Director at the National AIDS Secretariat.

All appointments and redeployments are effective immediately.
