GAMBIA: 15th OIC SUMMIT IN BANJUL: PRESIDENT BASSIROU DIOMAYE FAYE ACCEPTS INVITATION FROM PRESIDENT BARROW

During the recent official visit of Senegalese President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye to The Gambia, an event of considerable diplomatic importance took place. Indeed, President Adama Barrow invited his Senegalese counterpart to the 15th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Banjul, scheduled for May 4 and 5, 2024.

President Adama Barrow renewed this invitation during the meeting with President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, expressing his gratitude to the Senegalese government and people for their support for the success of the organization of the Summit.

In response to this invitation, Mr. Bassirou Diomaye Faye expressed his appreciation and acceptance to participate in the summit in Banjul.

He also expressed his sincere thanks to President Adama Barrow, the government and people of The Gambia for the warm and fraternal welcome extended to him and his delegation.
