The prospect of future arrests cannot be ruled out, according to the Gambia Police Force, since more information may come to light throughout the investigation. They explain this by using the accepted practices for any inquiry.
“The Inspector General of The Gambia Police Force, Abdoulie Sanyang, is unwavering in his demand for the people to come together and cooperate, as has been shown throughout this trying time for the police force and, by extension, the population. This contains those who have offered details that were essential to the successful capture of the suspect(s). Even while investigations are continuing and new information may result in further arrests, it’s vital to realize that these steps are typical of any inquiry. The police claim that these actions are required to protect the values of justice, so the people may have peace of mind.

According to the police, the IGP is completely committed to using all of the resources at his disposal to make sure that justice is not only sought for but also delivered.
