GAMBIA: AN EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IS CHEDULED TO CONSIDER 4 BILLS

The Gambia National Assembly will convene an extraordinary session on Wednesday, November 1st, and Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 to consider four bills.

The bills to be considered are:

  • The Victims Reparations Bill, 2023
  • The Ban from Public Office (TRRC) Bill, 2023
  • The Commission of Inquiry (Amendment) Bill, 2023
  • The Former Presidents Bill, 2023

The bills will be tabled by the Honorable Attorney General and Minister for Justice.

The statement from the clerk’s office reminds the public to comply with the standard dress code (traditional or suit) and to observe the silence rule during the proceedings of the session.
