GAMBIA: FORMER LANDS MINISTER SHERIFF ABBA SANYANG UNDER INVESTIGATION

According to reliable source, Sheriff Abba Sanyang, the former minister of Lands, Regional Governments and Religious Affairs who resigned last Friday is under investigation.

Based on very damning Internal Audit Reports on Minister Sanyang’s financial record as Governor of Central River Region, coupled with ongoing police investigations covering his tenure as Local Governments minister, political analysts say resigning was the best option.
