The murder trial of Ousainou Bojang, the individual accused of killing two PIU policemen at Sukuta Traffic Light, along with his sister Amie Bojang, has been moved by Principal Magistrate Omar Jabang from the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court to the Special Criminal Division of the High Court of the Gambia.

The transfer was sought by the Prosecution and subsequently approved by Magistrate Jabang, who cited the Magistrates’ Court’s limited competence in adjudicating murder matters.

Magistrate Jabang issued an order for Ousainou Bojang and Amie Bojang to be held in police custody until the case is heard at the High Court of the Gambia.
