GAMBIA: NENNEH MC CHAM REPLACES SALIEU TAAL AS PRESIDENT OF THE GAMBIA BAR ASSOCIATION

The Gambia Bar Association elected Neneh MC Cham to succeed Salieu Taal as president. Additional members of the executive team include Abdoulie Fatty (Secretary General) and Frederick Forster (Vice President).

Cham’s installation as President of the Gambia Bar Association marks the beginning of a new era for the group. She has extensive knowledge and competence in the field of law and is well regarded for her leadership abilities among her peers.

Concurrent with these changes, a number of previous executive members of the Gambia Bar Association have returned and are now serving as regular members of the executive. Ex-President Salieu Taal is one of them; he’s choosing to help out in a different way this time around. In a same vein, Oley Dibba, Ya Amie Touray, and Lena Hydara are all back on the executive as regular members.
