GAMBIA: PRESIDENT BARROW SCHEDULED TO VISIT MAURITANIA

State House, Banjul, 8th January 2024: 

The Office of the President informs the public that His Excellency, President Adama Barrow, will travel to Nouakchott, Republic of Mauritania, where he will receive the 2024 African Prize for Peace.  In December 2023,  the African Conference for Promoting Peace, based in Mauritania in partnership with the Dubai Peace Forum, announced President  Barrow as the African For Peace Promotion Prize winner.

The Presidential delegation will depart Banjul International Airport at 17:00 hours today, Monday, 8th January 2024.
