The United Democratic Party (UDP) Campaign Manager, Momodou Sabally, was Tuesday bailed out of Police custody after his counsel assured his client will not jump bail but will provide guarantee.

“Yes. I have been granted bail with two sureties and asked to report back at Kairaba station tomorrow at 9 am,” he told Freedom newspaper when contacted via the social messaging platform WhatsApp.

Momodou Sabally was arrested last Friday a comment he posted on Facebook few days before the Sukuta-Jabang traffic light shooter got into action. The triple shooting left two dead, another one seriously wounded.

When asked about the charges leveled against him by the Police, the UDP Campaign Manager has this to say:

“I am charged with threatening a Police officer.”
