The absence of Mr Jawara, the Businessman, philanthropist and serial Award winner, has attracted many people’s attention. He’s no longer heard about in the media, and his physical presence is absent in public, too.

It seems Ababacarr’s publicists are no longer active online promoting his profile. One of those people promoting his media profile appears to have relocated to the United States of America. The publicity-hungry businessman’s silence is raising questions in many quarters.

What’s happening to Ababacarr’s investment in the Gambia? Rumours are circling that he fell out with President Barrow and accused him of betrayal after all the support they had given to each other.

What business activities is Mr Jawara engaged in at present in the Gambia? What happens to the GACH Black Sand Mining company at Sanyang? We heard that the State had stopped the operations of the mines.

What’s the condition of the road and building contracts he got awarded last year? It appears it is also silent. We know that his attempt to enter into the Oil Marketing business was shot-lived after he alleged that Kadija Kebbeh scammed him.

What’s his financial state? We learned about some Property investment ventures in Dakar that aren’t performing well. Also, his business exploits in Cape Verde and Sierra Leone failed to yield dividends.

What’s next for the businessman? Some friends reported that Mr Jawara now lives in Dubai. He was sighted in China last week. Has Mr Jawara gone back to hustling?

It’s in the public interest to investigate Mr Jawara’s businesses. He has benefited from many procurement businesses and contracts, especially the controversial Black Sand Mining!
