SENEGAL: WE BEG SONKO TO PUT AN END TO THIS HUNGER STRIKE – YEWWI ASKAN WI

Donate to Freedom Radio Today

The Leaders of the Yewwi Askan Wi Coalition sent, “solemnly“, a missive to Ousmane Sonko, on hunger strike. The Conference of Leaders implores, “and in person”, to the “Patriote”, to put an end to this diet… In order, according to them, to keep their physical and mental faculties intact, which will lead them “inevitably to power in 2024“ .

Resolutely at your side all the time, we follow very closely and at the second your highly political hostage situation of Macky Sall, unable to suffer your meteoric political rise. The constant harassment, the regular relentlessness and the uninterrupted persecutions that he has never ceased to inflict on you since your beginnings in politics, lead you to engage in the ultimate and fateful ordeal of a hunger strike, with dozens of other political prisoners.

Your unwavering militancy, your legendary patriotism and your unparalleled sense of responsibility force us to understand your commitment to this honorable and legitimate fight.

Only, the perception is different. The Senegalese people in general and your companions and activists in particular, whom you have finished enlisting in your project for the qualitative transformation of Senegal and Africa, think that you are giving up and turning your back on them. The immense hope that you have aroused in them is taking a big hit.

We, faithful and eternal companions of Ousmane Sonko, believe that we are at a crucial episode, demanding that you keep your physical and mental faculties intact, which will inevitably lead us to power in 2024. Because convinced that Macky Sall will still fail miserably at this umpteenth plot.

Therefore, we solemnly implore you, and verbally, to put an end to this diet to achieve victory together against Macky Sall, obsessed with his excessive hatred and his obscurantism.
