UDP WIN NPP IN MASSEMBEH WARD ELECTION 2025

Before the election, a senior member of the NPP told us, “I think we will win in Masembeh because we are bringing them electricity.”

President Barrow must understand that what Gambians need right now is relief from the rising cost of living. You cannot expect people to vote for you or your party when prices keep soaring. Many households are struggling to make ends meet.

Infrastructure projects like roads are important, but they mean little when people are struggling to afford basic necessities.

Barrow needs to move beyond petty politics and start addressing the real issues affecting ordinary Gambians. The Rent Act was recently amended, yet landlords continue to ignore it because the government has failed to enforce it or even talk about it.

Many of Barrow’s advisers are driven by self-interest. Their loyalty is not to him but to their own survival.
